Institute
The Institute of Child Health was established in 1982 under the presidency of Istanbul University.
The academic studies and practices of the Institute of Child Health, educational activities at the graduate level in the field of child health, conducting scientific research aiming at contributing to the solution of child health problems, and providing health services in various branches of pediatrics, especially preventive health services.
In our institute, the students work in the disciplines such as specialization in medicine, pediatricians and minorists as well as public health, mental health, demography, sociology, anthropology, pedagogy and nutrition, biostatistics, biochemistry, biology, molecular genetics and physiotherapy.
To develop and raise the health quality of children of our country by educating competent people in multidisciplinary areas in universal dimension. The aim of this course is to educate the scientists who plan, conduct and implement research aimed at the development of child and adolescent health through the advanced education provided by new knowledge and technology.
To be a multidisciplinary institution that is respected and preferred at the international level with its services, education and research in the field of child health, to train the experts based on modern scientists and social needs. To become a leading institution offering advanced research and training opportunities to identify, solve and prevent any problems in the field of child health.
